Living Our Call as Disciples
About
Dear St. Mary Parish Family,
How blessed we are at St. Mary Church!
Our church is full on Sundays, and our parish family is growing!
We continue to register new families every month, many of them young couples and young families.
Last year we celebrated the baptism of 86 children! We often hear the voices of little ones filling the
church at the Sunday Masses. Connections and friendships of our parishioners continue to grow and
strengthen our parish community.
In all these blessings there is much more work at St. Mary we would like to do, especially in our mission to take care of our parish campus, proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and take care of those in need who come to St. Mary for assistance. Our parish leadership is initiating a concerted effort to increase support of our parish ministries as well as our Sunday offertory collection. We all have a need to give to the Lord of our time, talent, and treasure. There are ministries in our parish that need your support. The offertory collection is the primary way St. Mary covers the parish operating expenses needed to sustain our mission. I am counting on the many who are able, to make a sacrifice and contribute to the parish if you are not currently doing so. If you already are, I invite you to prayerfully consider if you are called to increase your weekly offering.
I last initiated an offertory campaign in the Fall of 2018. As I am most likely in my last year at St. Mary, I believe this is a good opportunity to do so again. My goal is to prepare ourselves for the future. I invite you to review the contents of this special brochure and consider how you can support our parish. A special Commitment Sunday will be held at Mass the second weekend of October. Please bring the enclosed Commitment Card to Mass prepared to renew your weekly offertory gift to support the works of St. Mary Catholic Church.
I am extremely appreciative of everyone’s past generosity to the Lord and to St. Mary Parish. I thank you in advance for your continued support, understanding, and kindness.
Sincerly,
Fr. Paul

Our Community
Everything we have is a gift from God. As we strive to love one another, good stewardship plays a key role. Stewardship consists of receiving God’s gifts with gratitude and sharing them in love and justice to further the mission of our Lord.

Our Witness
We know the importance of bringing the love of God to our neighbors. Through our many ministries, and our social and service-oriented outreach programs, we put into action the words of St. John: “If God so loved us, we also must love one another” (1 Jn 4:11).
