About the event
As a parish family, we will come together throughout the morning to share our time, talents, and generosity with those in need in our community. Mercy in Action Day is a special opportunity for people of all ages to serve others through simple acts of kindness, compassion, and mercy.
Volunteers can gather at the Fellowship Center at St. Mary beginning at 9:00 a.m. and participate in a variety of service opportunities throughout the morning. Volunteer opportunities include:
Making sandwiches and filling lunch bags for the St. Mary Pantry and Souper Sunday ministries.
Making soup for St. Mary’s Souper Sunday Ministry
Assembling backpacks to be distributed to individuals preparing to return to the community after incarceration.
Landscape and clean the yard of a local resident who is unable to maintain the property.
